Thoughts of Our Mind

Our minds are constantly going. Thinking about this and thinking about that. It is always good for us to right things down so that we will not forget what the Lord has given to us in our minds. We will have the time to reflect back on what He has given to us. The saying "when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah!" is an example of our mind thinking back and all that we have had opportunity in our lives. I give thanks to God and for his Son, Jesus Christ for sacrificing His life for me and for you. The thought that just crossed your mind...write it down and come back to it later! You will be blessed!

Loss and Found

There are times in our lives when we will have loss in our lives. I have heard in the past " every day someone dies, don't let it be you." We have have no power over our lives because it is in the hands of our Lord and Savior. The Lord govern and He will take away. We have to find peace in the midst of our storms. No matter what we are thinking or think about doing, it is in God's hand and His plan. I just loss a part of me today in Kansas and my heart is heavy. When I say loss, I do not mean death. When you have to leave a love one miles away from you, that's a loss. I praying for peace in my son's life and that he will take advantage of the opportunity that has been granted to him by God. I have found peace that he will be away for a period of time. This is his season to grow, mature, and find what God has for him. I pray for God's anointing to continue to cover him because his foot steps are ordered by the Lord. D....I love you! ......Dad

New Year New Thoughts

We made it into the new year with no problems. Our mindset must change and we can not proceed with old thoughts and feelings from 2010. We must concentrate on the goals we have set for ourselves and stay focused on God's plan for us. As long as we stay in His word daily, we will grow in Him and He will reveal to us our purpose in life. We must lean not to our our own understanding but acknowledge God and He will direct us in the right way we should go. Yes, the verse was paraphrased but we understand it. May God's peace and blessings continue to be with all of us this year.
